When I first started experiencing pain, I just attributed it to sleeping poorly. I don’t have the most comfortable mattress, so I just thought I had a bad night’s sleep. I would take a few pain pills in the morning and get on with my day, as I really did not know what else I could do about it. The bad thing though was that these days started happening more frequently, and I knew that I could not keep taking pain pills. I decided to go to a chiropractor in Cumming GA that my neighbor also sees.
She is the one who told me that it might not be my mattress at all, especially since I had varying levels of pain even when I did not sleep in my own bed. She made valid points, plus she was really pleased with what her chiropractor was able to help her with after she was involved in a bad car accident. I decided it was worth it to go and find out if there was another problem causing my back issues. I was able to get an appointment for the same week, and I was actually relieved when I went there because I was looking forward to getting some answers.
After an evaluation and some testing, it was determined that I had a very minor problem with my back that a handful of adjustments would take care of in a short period of time. I went ahead and scheduled the adjustments, and my first one was that day. It only took a few adjustments before i started feeling like my old self again. I was so glad that I did not go out and buy a new mattress either, because it turned out that it was not that causing my pain at all.
